Payroll Assistant (Part Time)

My client, a large independent accountancy firm are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their busy Payroll department based in Glasgow on a temporary basis, hours of work are Monday to Friday 10am – 2.30pm and this assignment is expected to last for 4-6 weeks.
 
You will be expected to undertake all aspects of payroll administration. The work load varies depending on the payroll needs of the client and payrolls are required for different pay periods (i.e. weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly) You will also be responsible for PAYE NIC calculations, absence payments for SSP, SMP and SPP and Real Time Information (RTI) administration, including updating client payrolls with the additional information now required by HMRC.

The ideal candidate for the role should have payroll experience within a bureau team. You will be well organised, able to prioritise a varied workload and used to working to deadlines. You must be computer literate, with good knowledge of MS Office products (Excel and Word). You will be an enthusiastic and well-organised individual with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
