Payroll Associate recruitment
Summary:
- Responsible for all aspects of the processing of the US Domestic, Canada and Latin American payroll, ensuring optimum effectiveness and efficiency of vendor services
- Ensure payroll compliance with all statutory regulations and internal controls
- Assist in strategic planning of regional payroll goals and objectives
- Integrate client feedback from a variety of sources to identify improvement opportunities and ensure follow-up
Responsibilities:
- Processing of semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls for approximately 5,800 employees in 5 countries
- Review and update necessary controls to ensure no unauthorized monies are being paid out; no critical control failures on audits
- Manage, analyze and provide a summary report giving recommendations of periodic reconciliations such as (a) HR Oracle data against Payroll data (b) stock awards and any others
- Review tax notices and work with payroll vendors to ensure tax compliance in the various payroll jurisdictions
- Respond to inquiries from Compensation Accounting, Human Resources and the Benefits team
- Process check requests and wire payments as needed

Qualifications/Work Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance related field strongly preferred
· Excellent PC Skills: Outlook, Excel, Word and Access
· Experience with ADP applications preferred
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
