Payroll Clerk Job in Chesterfield, Midlands Uk

Chase and Holland are working on behalf of a family run business in Chesterfield looking to recruit a Payroll clerk to cover a maternity leave for a period of 1 year.

Working in a stand alone role you will input timesheets, process statutory calculations and liaise with colleagues to process weekly payments via BACS for between 50 and 70 staff.

In order to be considered for this role, the ideal candidate MUST have practical knowledge of processing a payroll as well as having used both Sage and Sage Payroll on a daily basis.
You must also be prepared to commit to the full length of the assignment.

Working in a close environment you will have a friendly personality and work well in a team. Good Excel skills are essential and the ability to prioritise workloads.
