Job Description:
Adecco, the #1 Human Resource provider has an opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator to work at a premier client located in Ramsey,NJ.
1. SUMMARY:
The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for execution of accurate and efficient payroll activities. These include time entry, salaries, benefit deductions, and taxes for both hourly and salaried personnel.
2. ACCOUNTABILITIES
Day-to-Day Payroll Functions
-Meet weekly payroll data entry and reporting requirements
-Maintain payroll files for all employees
-Resolve employee questions/issues in a timely manner
-Processing Manual Checks
-Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
3. QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES.
-Manufacturing background
-ADP HR Benfits, EZ Labor, and Pay Expert experience required.
-Ability to execute high volume financial transactions with a high degree of accuracy
-Knowledge of payroll policies and processes
-Knowledge of weekly and semi-weekly payroll schedules
-Knowledge of basic 401K in order to handle inquiries and discrepancies
-Highly organized with excellent communications skills both verbal and written
-MS Office experience especially Excel
-Ability to take on challenges and additional responsibility
