Payroll Coordinator

Do you have full cycle payroll experience? Do you have a good knowledge of basic accounting concepts and reconciling payroll accounts? Then this might be the opportunity for you! Our client is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Performing all the payroll functions for employees
 - Generating accurate payroll, benefits and attendance reports on employees
 - Verifying payroll and benefit data
 - Maintaining a current knowledge of policies, legislation and collective agreements to ensure compliance
 - Responding to telephone and written inquiries from members and providing technical support to members
 - Preparing and reconciling statistics and reports
 
The ideal candidate will have completed their post secondary education in a related discipline and will have full cycle payroll experience, their PCP and experience working within a unionized payroll environment. You will also have excellent communication skills and experience working with PeopleSoft. Completion of the CPM would be considered an asset.
