Payroll Oppertunity, Trowbridge, £17,000- £21,000 (depending on skill set), Trowbridge
This is an excellent opportunity to work for a large reputable employable, taking on a very busy role requring skills in both payroll and HR. The payroll elements of the job can be particularly complex and so proven skills in this arena are essential.
You ought to be comfortable in dealing with 'high volume' payroll, and be comfortable in solving complex queries.
Most of the payroll information is inputted via an in-house system and so the main bulk of the work is accounting and amending the payroll, taking over-time and sickness into account.
The role can be very challenging, and you will be placed within a small but busy team, so you must also have excellent people skills and be very organised.
Skills required:
- Skills in Payroll (calculalting NI and Tax, managing sickness, over-time, staff benefits etc)
- Excellent communicator, both on the telephone and in person.
- Strong organisation skills and good people skills.
- Excellent problem solver.
- Be IT savvy, capable of picking up systems and good excel skills.
- An understanding of HR principles - any skills in this would be useful, but you can also be trained on this part of the role.
