Payroll Manager – 131590 recruitment
Specific duties include;
Manage and guarantee 5 multi-state, semi-monthly payrolls including garnishments, benefits and taxes to 2,000 employees consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws
Ensure the processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions and
terminations is accurate and timely
Supervise and mentor a payroll staff of 2
Review and analyze current payroll, benefits and tax procedures to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations
Communicate actively with Finance and HR to review cross-departmental impacts and develop efficiencies around the flow of data
Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports, including semi-monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
Prepare semi-monthly journal entries into Oracle Financials.
