Payroll Manager – 131590 recruitment

Specific duties include;

* Manage and guarantee 5 multi-state, semi-monthly payrolls including garnishments, benefits and taxes to 2,000 employees consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws

* Ensure the processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions and
terminations is accurate and timely

* Supervise and mentor a payroll staff of 2

* Review and analyze current payroll, benefits and tax procedures to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations

* Communicate actively with Finance and HR to review cross-departmental impacts and develop efficiencies around the flow of data

* Manage regular preparation of relevant management reports, including semi-monthly, quarterly and year-end reports

* Prepare semi-monthly journal entries into Oracle Financials.
