Payroll Manager

Manages payroll process and performs accounting-related tasks. Analyzes, prepares and processes employee payroll, paying taxes, transmitting direct deposits and ensure proper payments, processing garnishments, tax liens, bankruptcies, child support and annual W-2 reporting.

Minimum Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
    Planning and organization; ability to plan and manage multiple projects
    Minimum 5 years related work experience in payroll
    Computer proficiency: Word, Excel and Power Point
    Proficiency with ADP Payroll, ReportSmith, and Commission Calculation

Major Responsibilities:
    Prepare payroll year-end papers for external auditors
    Prepare year-end journal entries and financial reports and statements
    Compliance with applicable state and federal wage/hour laws
    Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
    Journal entries, account reconciliation, GL support
    Process payroll using ADP PC Payroll for Windows
    Prepare and Process commission and bonus
    Reconcile Payroll Taxes
    Administer FSA Plan, 401K
    Process Garnishment/Child Support/Levies
    Bank Reconciliation
    Manage Petty Cash
    Unemployment verifications
