Nebraska Book Company has an immediate opening for a Payroll Manager. This team-oriented individual will be responsible for overseeing the processing of payroll for approximately 3,500 employees biweekly, leading the payroll department, overseeing maintenance of employee files, and assuring compliance with company policy and government regulations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and organized individual who is willing to take an active role in day-to-day operations by providing helpful service to employees. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are a must along with a proven track record for payroll success, with multi-state experience preferred. A higher education degree or equivalent experience is required and experience with Excel, databases, and ADP systems is a plus.
