Payroll Manager - W1

Retail giant based in the heart of the West end currently seek an experienced Payroll Manager


You will be responsible for:


·Managing the complete payroll process and team of 11 across 3 Payrolls

·Current staff on Payroll close to 10,000 Permanent, contract and temporary/casual staff

·You will Manage the work distribution of the department to ensure smooth running of the payroll

·You will also be able to handle large team work volumes, motivating and leading the team in the process ensuring adherence to demanding time scales.

·Multi-site exposure is a must

·Check reconciliations, sign off each payroll and look to continually improve efficiency

·Action all salary changes for Senior Managers, Executives and Directors

·An understanding of pension schemes and impact on pay

·Comfortable managing future payroll strategy including systems, due diligence and acquisitions

·Systems implementation will be a large part of this role as the business is very much in an acquisitive mode

·Provide regular and ad-hoc management information

·Set and monitor the budget for the department
