The Ace Hardware Corporation is looking for a dynamic leader to manage our Corporate Payroll team. As the Payroll Manager you will be responsible for managing all functions relative to payroll processing for Ace Hardware and its subsidiaries. This includes the timely and accurate payroll for employees, accurate processing of tax with holdings and deductions from wages, and accurate tax filings. You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining certain aspects of the HR systems including the time labor systems all while ensuring an appropriate control environment through creation of policies and procedures.
A successful candidate will possess the following requirements:
•Bachelors Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
•Payroll processing experience, including exposure to accounting responsibilities, multi-state, international and corporate payroll experience
•Strong leadership abilities and experience at working with diverse stakeholder groups
•Management experience for non-exempt and exempt staff
•Ability to manage in a fast-moving environment and adhere to strict deadlines
•Experience with tax filings related to payroll activities
•Experience with SAP and/or Ceridian is desirable
