Payroll Officer
About the Job
This is a unique opportunity to work in an environment where you will enjoy going to work everyday. You will be working with a fantastic team full of great characters who have a real passion for their working environment and the quality of their service. You will be a leading Senior Payroll Officer providing assistance and mentorship to the other Payroll Officers and will report into a knowledgeable and experienced Payroll Manager. The company process payroll on the Preceda (Neller) system and is essential.
Duties will include.
Full function payroll
Prepare end of month process
Processing awards and EBA's
End of year process
Manual adjustments
Mentor, support and provide training
Complete special projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as being a customer service focused individual are a necessity for this role. It is expected you will have proven experience within payroll and have expert knowledge of Australian taxation requirements for payroll. You will have sound knowledge of Excel and computer based payroll systems.
