Exciting opportunity for a Payroll Officer/ Payments Co-ordinator
Established since 1998 and supplies labour services to a construction group. Recent plans to expand and grow the business are now being implemented.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join the company at an exciting time and make the position their own. 
Key Duties:
Processing of fortnightly and monthly PAYE using Sage Payroll.
Processing of labour subcontractor invoices and payments including those within the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS scheme).
Processing labour agency invoices and payments and managing supplier accounts.
Dealing with payroll queries from any of the above categories.
Managing and dealing with subcontractor bank payments, CIS Statements of deductions and any relating queries.
Raising of invoices for labour services provided to construction companies.
Extracting and manipulating data from SAGE Coretime.
Abilities, Skills and Experience of the Job seeker:
Proven payroll experience.
Experience of handling large volumes/ types of payroll under pressure.
SAGE Coretime experience desired.
SAGE Accounts and Payroll experience desired.
Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
Ideal candidate quick to learn, attention to detail and accuracy paramount, with an ability to take on tasks and processes and make them their own with built in controls and checks.
Working Hours:
08:30 to 17:00 with 30 minute lunch break Monday to Friday.
