Payroll Services Specialist II
GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for the timely and accurate payroll processing for all store hourly personnel. Responsible for processing adjustments and termination payments in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Process and balance bi-weekly payrolls for all store hourly personnel. Create manual check requests for termination pay, adjustment pay, or retro pay. Develop effective work relationships with the DM Admin and Store Management team to gain their trust and confidence. Respond to all employee inquiries in a timely and effective manner. Maintain highest level of confidentiality for all employee payroll and personnel records. Maintain effective communications with all internal and external contacts. Special projects as assigned. COMPETENCIES: Customer Service Adaptability Collaboration Commitment Quality QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: 10 key by touch. Ability to provide excellent customer service while working with frequent interruptions in a fast paced environment. Good organization skills, ability to set priorities.
