Payroll Supervisor – Part

Due to internal restructure an immediate requirement has arisen to work for this large organisation based in Sheffield. They are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Supervisor on a part-time basis (flexible hours 20-25) for 12 months. There is also a strong possibility that the position could become permanent for the right individual.

You will have extensive Payroll experience and also MUST have supervised at least 2 staff to be considered for this role.

Duties will include;
Ensuring the weekly and monthly payrolls are updated to reflect all authorised starters, leavers and amendments (including SSP, SMP and overtime calculations)
Responsibility for the production of all accounting entries arising from payroll and salary processing, and reconciliation of control accounts on a regular basis.
Responsibility for all statutory returns in respect of payroll and wages, including HMRC requirements and investigations, and year-end accounts disclosures; and the maintenance of all records required to meet statutory requirements, for the prescribed periods.
Responsibility for the production of weekly and monthly management information in respect of payroll, as required by management and in line with agreed timetables.

This is a part-time position over 20-25 hours per week - flexible to suit the individual
