Responsibilities:
- Oversee Data File processing and Job Scheduling/Monitoring: Coordinates file exchange with the client, internal domains or other third parties
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for payroll
- Responsible for identification of simple to complex issues and incidents, drives change for related improvements
- Ability to understand impact of issue across domains and ensure resolution
- Identifies and resolves simple to large escalations with strong emphasis to associates patterns, trends, and root cause analysis
- Guides and supports client delivery for new existing associates
- Able to write intermediate to advanced queries
- Provide support to manager and team on projects and other activities as needed
- Train associates on processes
- Maintain PeopleSoft set-up tables
- Run/Monitor interfaces (internal and external) and resolve issues associated with the data
- Identify and document process issues
- Develop and execute Quality Assurance queries and procedures
- Participate in integration change and merger projects
- Load data files to the PeopleSoft system
- Reconcile all mass updates to the system
- Identify and correct process gaps
- Execute PeopleSoft processes such as calc, confirm, and interface generation
- Document all processes and procedures (Standard Operating Procedures)
- Responsible for team audits and training
Education:
- Bachelors degree (HR or MIS preferred) or equivelent related experience
- CPP a plus
Work Experience / Skills:
- 5 years experience in Payroll working with PeopleSoft 8.0 or higher required
- Experience maintaining PeopleSoft Tables and executing PeopleSoft jobs
- Knowledge of Payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to write SQL or PS queries strongly preferred
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows, etc.) and technical aptitude
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Time Management skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Relational Database experience (Access, Oracle, etc)
