PB Derivatives & OTC Clearing Middle Office recruitment
The main function of the role is the management of trade processing, exceptions, reconciliations and Client Services functions for our both our PB Derivatives and OTC Client Clearing businesses. These currently cover FX, CDS and IRS Asset Classes. The succesful individual will have fluent German language skills to support our growing German Client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a point of contact for the Front Office, clients and other operational and infrastructures areas, such as Risk and Collateral Management, in relation to the FX and OTC Client Clearing business, in local (German) language where required.
- Other responsibilities would include ad-hoc system testing / projects and Management Information as the OTC Clearing business evolves.
- liaising with our Clients and other Clearing Brokers, ensuring timely processing and affirmation of trades.
- monitor daily and historic portfolio of our Client business ensuring trade reconciliations are accurate and that any exceptions are resolved in a timely fashion.
- liaise with Global Clearing teams to ensure consolidated global approach and accurate hand over to New York of any outstanding London business.
- act as a point of contact for our Clearing Clients ensuring we are pro-active in our service offering and reactive to any queries and aid prompt resolution - with primary ownership of all German Clients.
- OTC Clearing is a developing product and individual will have the ability to facilitate the continued roll out of services and functionality in this space developing our systems and processes in line with the industry requirements.
Experience Required:
- Fluent German
- Strong understanding of OTC Derivatives markets and processing.
- Good knowledge of CDS, IRD or FX Products
Skills / Aptitude Required:
- Strong communicator and Client facing experience
- Risk and Control understanding and focus.
- Good Excel skills, accuracy, strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and desire to strategically develop new business's or processes
- Good interpersonal skills and solid team player
