JPMorgan Private Bank ("JPMPB") provides investment management products and services to high net worth and ultra high net worth investors. It offers the full spectrum of investment strategies - from equity, cash management, fixed income, currency and asset allocation to alternative asset classes such as private equity, real estate and hedge funds. The Managed Advisory Product Group (MAP) team creates best of breed global front office trading and investment solutions for Private Bank investors and product specialists as well as serving the interests of key middle and back office stakeholders. Additionally, the group leads the implementation of the J.P. Morgan Advisory Program. Partnering with a broad spectrum of groups across the Private Bank, the team coordinates information and infrastructure necessary to enable clients to invest in a variety of dynamically managed portfolios. The role provides a unique and great opportunity to work closely with all levels of senior management and to make a difference in how the Private Bank trades and invests client's money. Detailed Responsibilities: Work closely with Plan and Build teams in US and Geneva to create a global strategic trading platform to support the unique suite of JPM Private Bank investment products. Partner with senior team members on major projects to ensure that all project initiatives are successfully completed and implemented. Take lead / ownership of projects and initiatives. Working with internal partners; Asset Class Leaders, Global Investment Specialist, Global Investment Assistant, Risk Management, Technology and Operations, in order to deliver optimal solutions. Run test scripts and conduct ad-hoc testing to cover all bases of the various projects and their functionality. Essential Skills: In depth project leadership skills understanding of product life cycle Understanding of market risk, credit risk and operational risk inherent in trading solutions Track record researching, analyzing and creating strategic and tactical solutions to front office requests Experience working with front office trading / portfolio management system Understanding of systems architecture and how unique product features require unique systems features Ability to create and drive business agenda Experienced at dealing with and presenting to all levels of management Ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced work environment Maintain a high energy level and strong sense of initiative Strong communication and organization skills Strong sense of teamwork Excel / Powerpoint Preferred Skills: Understanding of asset management/ private banking industry Knowledge of investments and investment products (equities, fixed income, alternatives, etc) Experience working with scalable model based trading platforms Experience designing and implementing trading and portfolio management systems and/or processes.
