Description
This position is responsible for:
- Driving product line sales within all PC Connection sales subsidiaries
- Participating in customer meetings and briefings to provide technical input.
- Executing necessary internal components of Marketing/Merchandising Programs and strategy in cooperation with Product Management and Manufacturer including training of appropriate staff (Support, Sales, etc).
- Engaging with outside Field/Technical Sales organizations.
- Prospecting into untapped Manufacturer Field Sales organizations to open new streams of sales and leads.
- Tracking, driving and promoting Regional Sales Initiatives, Callout and Leads Campaigns.
- Analyzing current PC Connection sales trends to identify sales personnel not keeping pace with National Market Share or Internal Share of business.
- Engaging with Sales Organization based on Data Mining, Opportunity Uncovering and Deficiency Identification Efforts.
- Monitoring and participating in effective execution of Special Pricing Programs and Requests in cooperation with Vendor Pricing organization.
- Monitoring and Participating in effective execution of Other Key Manufacturer Programs.
- Providing last-line-of-defense support and assistance to Sales Support personnel via the Call Center.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/Computer Science or equivalent.
- Ability to interact at all levels of Management internally, and with Customers and Suppliers.
- Proven solution development and presentation skills.
- Strong business analysis skills, strong negotiating, selling, communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word and relevant business systems tools (JDE, Product Wizard, Business Objects, etc.)
- Minimum five years sales experience required.
- Marketing experience preferred.
- A background in HP is preferred.
