Description

This position will execute necessary internal components of Marketing/Merchandising Programs and Strategy in cooperation with Product Management and Manufacturer including training of appropriate staff. Engage with outside Field/Technical Sales organizations. Prospect into untapped Manufacturer Field Sales to open new streams of sales and leads. Track/drive/promote Regional Sales Initiatives, Callout and Lead Campaigns. Analyze current PC Connection sales trends to identify sales personnel not keeping pace with National Market Share or Internal Share of business. Engage with Sales Organization based on Data Mining, Opportunity Uncovering and Deficiency Identification Efforts. Monitor and Participate in effective execution of Special Pricing Programs and Requests in cooperation with Vendor Pricing organization. Monitors and participates in effective execution of Other Key Manufacturer Programs. Provide last-line-of-defense support and assistance to Sales Support personnel via the Call Center.

Required Skills

Requires strong business analysis skills, strong negotiating, selling, communication and organizational skills. Requires demonstrated leadership capabilities. Requires proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Word, and relevant business systems tools (JDE, Product Wizard, Business Objects). Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Computer Science or equivalent.

Required Experience

Requires at least two years of marketing and sales experience in the technology field.
