Current Need
We are looking for an onsite Desktop / Network Systems Support Tech at this time. Our office is located in the southwest quadrant of Houston - just south of Reliant Stadium and the 610 Loop. Core business hours M-F 8a-5p. Please include work history and salary requirement with application
Position Description
This position will be entrusted with: installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computer and other office systems; installations, upgrades and backups of software and hardware applications; will troubleshoot software and hardware failures as well as identify network problems and will assist Network Administrator with troubleshooting of networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and troubleshoot IT hardware/software (ie: laptops, desktops, phones, scanners, etc) for existing and new employees.
- Assist with project management tasks as assigned.
- Enter STAT, Remedy and HEAT ticket requests to troubleshoot issues.
- Review and document workflow technical challenges.
- Manage and coordinate computer equipment, server systems, security systems and network drives.
- Activate and deactivate user access to payor websites, client systems and badge access.
Minimum Requirements
1+ years PC/Network support experience required / 3+ years preferred
Education: 2-year degree required / 4-year degree in related industry preferred
