PC Technician Job in 60018
Purpose of Job:
o Responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting all PC computer hardware and software within the organization
o Meet our Customer SLA using the Help Desk ticketing system to track cases
o Diagnose PC network connectivity problems
o Keep accurate inventory of equipment using PC Asset Database
o Maintain the video conferencing equipment
o Assist with back-up tape rotation
Skills Functional Knowledge
o Ability to install, support, troubleshoot and research within the following technologies
o Windows 7 and MAC Snow Leopard and Lion Operating Systems.
o Proficient with Microsoft Office Products
o Intel based hardware support
o Printers and Plotters
o TCP/IP
o Symantic End Point 12.1 virus protection software
o Experience in building and re-imaging PC’s using Image X and Ghost
o VPN
o Remote Internet Connection
Level of Education and Experience Required:
Associates in Computer Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
2-5 years of general IT experience preferred.
