PC/Client Server Analyst II

 

This is a temporary position with Raytheon.

 

Responsible for providing system administration for Windows XP, Linux, Unix, and Office 2003 and 2007. This will involve initial system installations, system re-imaging and data recovery, hardware diagnostic testing, registry editing and network printer setup and repair. Including:

  • Responsible for data management and system backups.
  • Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts in a classified environment.
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Frequent customer interaction, works user issues one on one and through a help desk ticket system.

    Required Skills:

  • 2-4 yrs in-depth knowledge Windows XP and Windows Server 2003
  • 2-4 yrs in-depth knowledge of Office 2003 and Office 2007.
  • Familiarity with RedHat Enterprise and Workstation Release 4 or 5
  • Familiarity with Symantec Antivirus products and Backup Exec.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user management
  • Knowledge of data backup system design, principles, and safeguards
  • Demonstrated ability to work under time constraints.
  • Proven ability to work with general supervision and follow established procedures.
  • Effective customer service skills, including oral and written communications.
  • Knowledge of JAFAN 6/3
  •  

    Clearance Requirement: Must have active Top Secret (adjudicated within the last 5 years), additional clearance may be required.

     

    Education: Minimum Degree: BSCS/IS/IT/Computer Information Systems
