PCS Global Head of Product Control (Controller) recruitment
Control and improve the reliability of the Business Line PL (revenue and cost) in coordination with the Finance team.
Day to day Responsibilities Include:
- Propose and implement new control processes and/or corrective actions within relevant departments to improve the BL PL accuracy
- Manage the Business Control team globally
- Control static data after set-up: fees, commissions, interest, etc.
- Review internal and external charges: execution, eSolutions, etc.
- Review commissions charged or rebated to clients
- Review management and payout PL (NBI and Expenses)
- Review profitability on existing and new activities in coordination with Finance
- Leverage control and support function to build a control framework for PCS; also leverage a control framework to highlight profitability issues/anomalies
- Centralize requests on client profitability
- Review client profitability for clients using e-solution/ capital/ guarantees/ ROE
- Analyze clients PL and volumes variation and reconcile with Finance
- Work with TRM team and Finance to build a sustainable client profitability production model covering income and both direct and indirect cost
- Monitor, track and implement cross-selling and splits
- Assist with new activities business planning/ pricing in coordination with Finance
- Assist with ad hoc assignments and requests from senior managers
Qualifications Include:
- 7+ years of financial experience with a demonstrated track record of product/financial control
- BA/BS preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance; MBA desired
- Experience in brokerage or financial services industry with an understanding of Clearing Operations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to identify problems and generate practical solutions in a logical manner
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and display initiative to lead discussions with business leaders and colleagues
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Travel will be required
