PDK CAD Engineer Job in Andover, Massachusetts Us
Description
Responcible for working in a CAD team to develop state of the art Process Design Kits (PDKs) includiung:
- Develop schematic primitives libraries including Cadence Component Description Forms (CDFs) and associated callback functions.
- Write device level, layout generation code (pcells).
- Test and install process models used in simulation tools the PDK supports.
- Write runsets for physical verification and parasitic extraction.
Firm understanding of Cadence DFII. - Generate QA databases for verification runsets.
Automate and improve existing PDK development and QA processes.
Provide technical CAD support.
Qualifications:
BSEE with a strong computer science background and a detailed understanding of Custom and Semicustom IC design and layout.
Solid understanding of various process technologies
Ability to write physical verification runsets.
Ability to write scripts and small s/w programs.
Experience writing verification runsets using Calibre, Hercules StarXT.
Can program in Skill.
