PE Associate for a Leading PE fund based in HK recruitment
This person will have a lot of exposure to many areas of the business and will require regular travel and would have a healthy balance of deal interaction and analysis work.They intend to set up a new fund and therefore are looking for an Associate to work in the team based in Hong Kong. You will be a strong financial modeler but also have good client facing and commercial skills.
Duties will include:
- Providing necessary support in summarizing economic data and statistics, performing industry research analysis.
- Working closely with team members to formulate deal structures, evaluate investment opportunities, perform due diligence, build financial models and perform financial analysis and forecast.
- Coordinating with external professionals, including auditors, lawyers and other technical professionals to perform due diligence work.
- Involving in preparing internal investment proposals and post-investment monitoring.
- Maintaining a good and friendly relationship with investment banks, co-investors, financial advisors and other professionals during deal execution.
- Assisting team members to prepare marketing and legal documents for establishing new funds.
- Assisting in any ad hoc projects or internal reports.
Requirements:
- Master Degree or higher, CFA/CPA preferred.
- At least 3 years experience gained from reputable investment banks or private equity firms. They could consider candidates with slightly less experience but they must be high achievers…
- Familiar with financial modeling and good knowledge in PC applications including Powerpoint, Bloomberg.
- Strong analytical skills, communication skills and finance knowledge.
- Strong language command of both written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Frequent travelling is required.
- A good team player.
