Anchorage, Alaska ndash; Providence Health Services in Alaska is seeking an excellent Nurse Practitioner with experience and/or training in pediatric surgery. We will consider training/experience in another surgical specialty, or extensive experience in another pediatric subspecialty. This is a great opportunity to practice with a solid group in Alaskarsquo;s most sophisticated environment for pediatric surgery. Providence operates the statersquo;s largest tertiary center, Providence Alaska Medical Center, and its only childrenrsquo;s hospital, The Childrenrsquo;s Hospital at Providence. New NP will be employed through Providencersquo;s growing medical group, Physician Services Organization. Providence Alaskarsquo;s Physician Services Organization is a multi-specialty group with approximately 70 physicians and advanced practice providers serving greater Anchorage and the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. Our infrastructure consists of six outpatient clinics and two hospital service medical offices. The organization is expected to grow nearly 20 percent between 2009 and 2012, adding facilities, staff and physicians to support that objective.
