Position Description:
As a member of Morgan Stanley's Private Equity business, Hangzhou RMB Fund, the individual in this position will help manage investor relations for the private equity fund. The individual will be responsible for supporting and monitoring the fund activities while ensuring the highest level of satisfaction among its prospects, clients and distribution partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage all communications with current and prospective investors and their representatives.
- Represent the fund in prospect and client meetings and calls.
- Facilitate marketing and client service communications and processes between the business and various marketing and distribution channels in China.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of all media used for marketing and investor reporting.
- Assist with the planning and execution of successful product launches, road shows, meetings, conferences, etc. in support of the business.
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to ad hoc requests from clients and prospects.
- Serve as a back up for others on the team.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Skills Required:
- Native Mandarin language skills
- Bachelor's Degree is required; MBA is a plus.
- Seven plus years of relevant on-job-experience in finance, investor relations or alternative investments is required.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills combined with an ability to get things done in complex rapidly changing environments.
- Familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant office technology.
- Demonstrated team orientation with proven ability to work independently.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
