We are currently searching for a Pension Systems Analyst to join Saint-Gobain in our North American Headquarters located in Valley Forge, PA

The Pension Systems Analyst will be responsible for the following areas:
Responsible for the administration and compliance controls of all U.S. defined contribution plans. This includes writing queries and performing audits and data analysis to ensure government and plan compliance as well as TPA data integrity for 18,000 accounts. Monitor and adjust for IRS limit regulations—especially §402(g), §401(a)17, §415(c). Principal contact for 401(k) questions and issues from participants, Human Resource, and Payroll personnel. Assist in developing and presenting 401(k) educational campaigns.

Responsible for evaluating 401(k) TPA service performance levels for administration and project implementation against established benchmarks and determine if any fees ought to be at risk.

Administer monthly distribution process and distribution elections for the Saint-Gobain Long-Term Savings Plan. Resource for participant questions on distribution elections and one-time change rules. Administer the Company Match Make-Up Policy for earnings in excess of IRC limits or deferred into SGC Long-Term Savings Plan.

Responsible for monthly reconciliation of funding ACHs to Fidelity’s Trial Balance, loan default processing; completion and filing of annual IRS Form 5500’s, and Summary Annual Reports. Principal contact for outside auditor questions regarding 401(k) plan compliance and audits. Responsible for completing and filing Canadian T-10 forms quarterly as needed to report Pension Adjustment Reversals. Assist in the reviewing of Canadian pension benefit government forms as needed.

Primary contact for Qualified Domestic Relations Orders, subpoenas, and Required Minimum Distribution processing. Consists of working with others (TPA, field personnel, attorneys, participants, etc.) to educate, coordinate, and compile documents to enable Fidelity to complete transactions in accordance with IRS and Plan documents.

Qualifications:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES-
Responsible for day-to-day administration of all U.S. defined contribution plans. Principal contact for participant and Human Resources/Payroll questions and issues. Responsible for managing Company exposure to cross-year corrections through audits, such as analyzing suspension processing, employee transfers, contribution changes, to identify and correct errors in year made. Requires problem solving and interpretation of government regulations and plan documents. Must query payroll tables and TPA systems and manipulate data in large spreadsheets accurately and efficiently. Responsible for timely correction of issues impacting TPA data integrity. Ensure plan documents are properly followed and administered in a nondiscriminatory manner.
Responsible for system audits to ensure IRS/plan compliance, including but not limited to IRC regulations (§402(g), §401(a)17, §415(c) 414(v)); all Company match contributions have corresponding employee contributions, match calculation across multiple benefit plans correctly capped. Impacted participants must be identified; correction method determined; necessary adjustments calculated and audited; and affected parties notified. Weekly audit catch-up elections to forecast if 402(g) limit will be met by year-end to ensure contribution eligibility. Shut off elections for those not eligible. Update employee deferral percentages changes resulting from audits in TPA to keep TPA and payroll deferrals in sync.
Special projects, integration and divestiture work which leverage the experience and knowledge of pension data systems.
Responsible for administering distributions and distribution elections for the non-qualified Saint-Gobain Long-Term Savings Plan. Entails reviewing and processing monthly distributions; identify those needing to go into pay status and ensure correct distribution setup. Contact resource for participant distribution election questions and one-time change rules.
Evaluate and track 401(k) TPA service performance levels for plan administration and project implementation. Includes documenting TPA’s effectiveness and error tracking throughout year. Determine if any fees ought to be at risk based on performance and provide justification.
Completion and filing of all 401(k) 5500 government filings and Summary Annual Reports. Principal contact with auditors and accounting for D.C. plan audits. Responsible for ADP/ACP discrimination testing performed by TPA and for implementing corrective action where necessary. Complete and file T-10 forms for Canadian Pension Adjustment Reversals when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS-
College Degree
5 - 7 years 401(k) administration experience with emphasis in compliance expertise
3 - 5 years experience in logical process analysis, report writing and data manipulation
Sophisticated computer skills with programming aptitude
High proficiency with Windows environment and Microsoft applications
