PwC's People Change team is one Australia's leading consulting practices and provides services to companies across a broad range of industries. We are currently seeking a Senior Manager and Director to join the team to work on performance and reward-related projects. Key responsibilities:
- Working with boards and senior management to design comprehensive, competitive and justifiable executive remuneration models
- Working with senior management to assess the effectiveness of and better align reward programs with the company's people objectives and corporate strategy for the non-Executive population (including general employee reward and sales force reward)
- Building a strong internal network to assist in ensuring that reward plans operate efficiently and effectively from an accounting, legal, tax and corporate governance perspective and are competitive in the marketplace (and that packages meet shareholder and stakeholder expectations)
- Demonstrate strong leadership and be able to work towards shared goals and the firm's values of Excellence, Teamwork and Leadership
- Play a critical role in achieving the Reward and Performance team's ambitious growth objectives by identifying and sharing responsibility for delivery and sales across a portfolio of accounts
- Be a subject matter expert and lead the delivery of consulting engagements to our clients
- Transfer technical knowledge and skill by coaching work stream leaders
- Share success stories and knowledge across client teams and contribute to relevant knowledge sharing forums and thought leadership
- Complying with new legislation and corporate governance codes.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Exceptional management consulting skills gained at a reputable consulting firm or in an internal consulting capacity
- Demonstrated track record of outstanding achievement and strong technical understanding of some or all of the following reward elements - benchmarking, short term incentive plans, long term incentive plans, reward governance and reward design and strategies
- Commercial and strategic mindset for influencing and advising clients
- Proven ability to drive sales
- Ability to present solutions in a clear and articulate manner to suit the needs of the client
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional coaching skills and a passion to drive career development for team members
- Ability to problem solve and identify unique solutions
- Team-focussed style with strong organisational and project management skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry and market trends
- Strong focus on building client relationships - internal and external.
