People & Culture Lead Job in Melbourne 3000, Victoria Australia

Working on a major rail infrastructure project in Victoria. The role of people and culture lead will provide an integrated human resources solution, ensuring all people-oriented goals and objectives are met. The purpose of this role is to oversee the development and integration of the team, recruitment, implement policies and practices, development of team culture and general HR operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

       Implement and review alliance culture and personnel policies, practices and procedures in line with best practice and legislative requirements.

       Develop and implement best practice recruitment and selection processes.

       Develop and implement climate surveys to gauge employee satisfaction.

       Monitor, record and advise on matters involving alleged employee misconduct, including discrimination, harassment, bullying or other Code of Conduct breaches.

       Participate in inductions for new employees.

       Coordinate the exit interview process and collate feedback for process improvements, reporting trends back to the Alliance.

       Provides reporting, analysis and recommendations to wider HR team on key HR metrics.

       Effectively partner stakeholders to manage and drive change aligned to business agenda.

 

Experience and qualifications

       Degree qualified in human resource management.

       7-10 years experience in a commercial environment (ideally in environment, construction or infrastructure delivery)

       Extensive experience in the delivery of strategic human resource services.

       Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of systems and processes to achieve project management outcomes.

       Outstanding project management skills.

Reporting relationships

The people and culture lead will be a member of the Manidis Roberts corporate services team and will report to the project leader on a day to day basis and will also report to the corporate services practice leader.
