Deloitte were the first of the "Big 4" to establish a dedicated Programme Leadership practice. As such you'll work with and learn from some of the key players in this field. Not only this, but Deloitte have a dedicated internal Programme Leadership training capability which will equip you with all the skills you need to go on to become a successful PL practitioner. We also actively support and encourage our consultants to gain externally recognised qualifications such as Prince 2 and MSP.
Programme Leadership is a core proposition in the Operational Transformation agenda at Deloitte and this kind of work sits at the heart of any business. So, you'll broaden your skill set and develop quickly, gaining access to the highest levels of client liaison and working on complex, high-profile projects across a range of clients whilst specialising in your chosen industry.
We are recruiting into the various financial services industries including investment banking, insurance and retail banking.
This role involves:
- Assisting with the design and development of a programme or project initiative.
- Progress reporting and risk management.
- Co-ordinate plans across work streams.
- Development of plans and management of critical paths through understanding of the inter-dependencies between workstreams.
- Prepare programme financial reports as part of PMO role.
- Undertake financial modelling to prepare budgets and business cases.
- Mentoring and managing analysts and consultant
To qualify you must possess:
- Previous experience in project or programme management, either working for an institution or a consultancy firm.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good problem solving and analytical skills.
- Degree qualified (minimum 2:1) or equivalent experience.
- Full travel mobility.
- The right to live and work in the UK.
- Experience of managing/coaching/mentoring people
- Project Management qualifications (MSP, Prince 2, PMP) desirable but not essential, as opportunities will be provided by the Firm to acquire these as part of an individual's career development plan.
