Essential for Business Analyst/Developer
• Works with process and system owners, user community and Application host to evaluate and resolve user problems and systems issues providing technical support and training.
• Recommends practical/actionable solutions and recommendations that are consistent with the company’s organizational objectives.
• Develops report specifications and queries.
• Manages the configuration of, and updates to system settings and options.
• Promotes and coordinates regular, communication between functional staff and IT on the status of system change request progress, issues and priorities.
• Works with business partners to document problems, gather requirements and resolve issues, and recommend innovative approaches to achieving business objectives with available information technology.
• Contributes to business process mapping and reengineering, and identifies process improvement opportunities.
• Helps develop functional specifications for system enhancements, identifies alternative effective approaches/solutions which minimize the need for system customizations, and conducts feasibility, fit-gap, and cost-benefit analyses.
• Develops and employs test plans, coordinates acceptance testing, and maintains testing issues log.
• Contributes to implementation planning, user training, and post-go-live maintenance and user support. For larger projects, the Analyst may lead or coordinate activities of sub-project teams.
• Provides temporary back-fill of existing staff as they rotate to other special assignments.

• In addition Business Analyst/Developerduties, takes a lead role in these activities, exercising substantial independent and broad judgment and discretion.
• Without specific direction is a key contributor for evaluating and developing solutions to more complex business and technology problems.
• Facilitates communication between business partners and IT to reach agreement on specifications for process and system changes.
• Identifies interdependencies and potential conflicts with other concurrent projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required for Business Analyst/Developer

• + 4 years Experience as a Business Analyst/Developer having prior hands-on experience with PeopleSoft financials or supply chain applications release 8.4 or higher.
• Significant contributions to major system implementations, enhancements and upgrades.
• Experience in analyzing, defining and documenting system change requirements, identifying and evaluating alternatives, and the planning, testing and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades.
• Advanced data analysis skills using complex accounting and business process data. High degree of proficiency with PeopleSoft query, Excel, and Access.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated experience as a functional/technical liaison between functional and technical staff. Demonstrated experience making significant contributions in diverse, cross-functional project teams.
• Experience applying project management skills in planning, organizing and executing work.

Preferred for Business Analyst/Developer
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Hands-on experience processing and analyzing accounting and/or supply chain transactions; knowledge and prior use of PeopleTools and App Designer to Develop and troubleshoot and analyze user problems; experience with highly customized financial applications; experience using SQL Server tools.
