Peoplesoft Financials Business Analyst

The PeopleSoft Financial Business Analyst will have direct involvement in business case development performance measurement. This role requires a deep understanding of the latest PeopleSoft Financials releases 8.9 or higher, as well as operations/business challenges have the ability to translate them into solutions. This role also provides hands-on functional support, direction, mentoring to the team as well as assists client relationships. The PeopleSoft Financials Business Analyst will deliver innovative business consulting, business process design, systems integration, and application design and management to a leading commercial and public sector organization. This role is responsible for advising customers on application development methodologies/tools and selling related solutions. This role is also responsible for working with end-users of application systems to develop application system requirements and for determining and resolving problems throughout related testing processes. Primary duties also include: - Developing and creating application system requirements necessary to get from current state to desired state. - Identifying potential upstream/downstream impacts; and translating the business requirements into computer requirements. - Determining and resolving testing-related problems, such as determining causes of "defects" (i.e., are they coding/programming deficiencies or actually new requirements?) and designing appropriate resolutions. - Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned. Required * Bachelor's Degree * At least 4 years experience in Implementation (Hands-on) of PeopleSoft Financials modules * At least 4 years experience in Systems development life cycle (Multiple Implementations) * At least 4 years experience in Peoplesoft Security (Set-up Roles and Permissions) * U.S. citizenship required * English: Basic knowledge Preferred * At least 3 years experience in PeopleSoft Revenue Management * At least 4 years experience in Process Management and Change Management * At least 4 years experience in General Ledge, Commitment Control, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Accounts Receivable, Projects, Asset Management, Contracts, and Billing * Certified in CPA * English : Intermediate IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
