PeopleSoft Supply Chain Test Lead - Pleasanton, CA
Kaiser Permanente Information Technology (KPIT) seeks an Application Testing SME to manage testing activities for Supply Chain applications within the Shared Services Organization (SSO) under the Corporate Services Business Information Office (CS BIO). KPIT's SSO oversees all technology services provided across the entire Kaiser enterprise. This tester will be responsible for validating test designs, scripts and results for multiple new modules and transaction types. This role will report to the SSO Quality Principal. Primary Functions: - Works with Test Manager to coordinate, plan, and manage testing activities which are required to support supply chain - Responsible for validation of test designs, scripts and execution results and SOX test documentation - Responsible for the design of test cases and the development of test scripts, including data integration, batch testing, etc. - Responsible for defects management and driving to resolution and retesting the same - Identifies necessary test environment requirements to support test phase and coordinates with environment manager - Understands Service Requests and coordinates appropriate resources spanning different organizations as related to tests with production support and from systems external to PeopleSoft, as needed Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - A minimum of 6 years of experience in development of new programs/application or maintaining and/or supporting existing programs/systems. - Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or 4 years of equivalent work experience - ERP Implementation or test experience with supply chain applications - Experience with production support testing, understanding of quality requirements of test data, identifying data flows - flow through testing (processes utilizing interfaced data) - Strong verbal communication - Ability to influence test managers and test engineers - Ability to plan a testing effort - Problem-Solving / Analytic Thinking - Results Orientation - Service Orientation - Strategic / Systems Thinking Preferred Qualifications: - PeopleSoft FSCM configuration experience - PeopleSoft 8.9 Inventory and Purchasing functional knowledge - PeopleSoft PO, INV, and ePro functional knowledge - Experience with regression testing - Knowledge of and experience with SOX process and deliverables - Experience in working with large organizations with multiple stakeholder groups - Understanding the nature of 3rd party product integration to and from systems external to PeopleSoft
