PeopleSoft Technical Consultant
As a key part of a global rollout, my client is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Software Engineer with hands on experience in Implementation, Enhancement, Production Support and Maintenance projects in PeopleSoft. They are upgrading from HCM 8.9 - so expect experience of core modules; Talent Acquisition Manager, Candidate Gateway, Manager Self-Service etc together with development of Application interfaces using PeopleTools (v8.4x) technologies. The system sits on an Oracle 9i database so PL/SQL, Oracle administration skills would be highly beneficial i.e. installation of Oracle PeopleTools, Tuxedo, and WebLogic patches, apply Oracle PeopleSoft HRMS and Global payroll bundle and tax patches.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide technical PeopleSoft support and consultancy to functional teams and other technical teams
Produce technical specifications from user/business/functional requirements
Development and unit test of changes to the PeopleSoft system
Support of development projects throughout the development lifecycle (System Test, UAT and Production implementation)
Provide the link between the PeopleSoft technical team and functional team
Fault diagnosis using PeopleSoft Application Debugger
Act as PeopleSoft technical mentor to less experienced staff
