The role holder must:

Possess a demonstrable ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders, whilst being able to clearly communicate requirements and liaise with peers who are required to support the delivery of certain types of MI

Have significant experience in complex quantitative analysis, with a strong and proven ability to:

Rapidly analyse significant amounts of data and information, within tools such as MS Excel, and having expert levels of MS Excel skills and knowledge

Develop and lead on innovative ways to manipulate data in order to always present information to Sourcing stakeholders in a way which maximises value-add and insight, and highlights the key areas that need attention

Efficiently produce management information in a format which is world-class in terms of appearance and quality, similar to broker/investor/shareholder information for large corporate organisations

Be highly numerate and comfortable in managing the production and presentation of senior / executive level reporting;

Be highly skilled at leading and preparing value-adding guidance and recommendations to an executive team, advising them on areas of concern and risk and taking responsibility for advising them on solutions and actions.? It is critical that the role holder is able to articulate complex messages to senior management in a succinct and clear manner

Be articulate, both verbally and in the way that information is conveyed in reports and presentations, with an ability to communicate complex information in a simple and effective way

Be highly customer focused, flexible and results driven and someone who thrives on the challenge of developing new and innovative analysis and reporting which directly contributes to the development of plans and subsequent execution of actions to deliver tangible business results

Person Requirements

Technical Skills/Competencies

Advanced MS Excel and data manipulation skills

Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage, prioritise and deliver multiple tasks within the same period of time

Strong stakeholder management skills (especially at an executive level)

Highly customer focused

Strong ability to manage multiple ad hoc and urgent requests

Ability to translate data/reporting into actionable recommendations

Knowledge/Expertise

Essential

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident and articulate

Proven experience of developing and implementing management reporting

Excellent ability to develop clear and succinct reports and presentations drawing upon a significant amount of data and information

Significant experience in complex quantitative analysis
