Performance Analyst recruitment
Responsibilities:
- responsible for the production and analysis of investment performance and attribution reports
- Review operational and data issues (e.g. pricing, corporate actions, cash flows and benchmarks) to ensure accurate performance
- Monitor daily and periodic comparisons of fund performance with benchmarks and analyse anomalies
- Produce return and attribution analysis for our range of portfolio and product funds and communicate findings to internal and external clients
- Generate accurate and timely performance reports for inclusion in monthly MIS and client reports
- Composite reporting in compliance with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
- Participate actively in the implementation of new reporting functionalities
- Work as part of a team on ad hoc requests for performance information from various groups within the organisation
Skills/ Experience:
The ideal applicant will possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Highly numerate with good attention to detail
- Excellent PC skills, with particular reference to Excel and Microsoft Access
- A proven ability to work effectively to tight deadlines
- Good problem solving and organisation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills are essential
- A desire to continually improve systems and processes
- A good knowledge of investments ideally combined with an excellent academic qualification such as CFA, MSc in Investment and Treasury or equivalent.
