This progressive business has identified the need to strengthen its Analytics capability through the attraction of ambitious and forward thinking Performance Analysts who can deliver customer and product reporting and analytics to allow the pulse of the business to be assessed on a daily basis by senior stakeholders from across the business. The role:
- Deliver analytics including key observations and trends to the business on a daily basis. Tailor the presentation of this information based on the competitive landscape and key internal metrics;
- Lead the annual forecasting process to predict customer behaviour and movement. Continually refine the forecast throughout the financial year;
- Analyse campaign activity to determine the effectiveness of campaigns relative to key metrics. Provide concise, impactful observations to multiple stakeholders across the business;
- Contribute to the data roadmap and influence the development of the organisation’s data architecture to ensure the needs of the Analytics team are met;
Candidate requirements
- Highly analytical with the ability to deliver reporting of a high standard and to provide meaningful, commercially relevant insight into key themes and trends.
- He/she will need to be commercially astute with experience of working in environments where the Analytics function is required to work closely with areas of the business such as Marketing. Individuals with Operations Research experience would be particularly attractive. Experience of sectors such as Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retail and Utilities is highly desirable;
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present concisely and to engage with diverse stakeholders internally. Familiar with tools including SAS.
- Robust, direct and pragmatic with a solutions orientated approach. This individual will also be ambitious, passionate and driven.
