Performance Analyst recruitment
A qualified candidate will have strong requisite knowledge of the many varieties for calculating performance and a deep understanding of the inputs and factors that drive performance measurement. The analyst must be able utilize varied but interrelated systems designed to provide critical inputs needed for generating reports and analytical frameworks. The analyst must conduct themselves with a level of confidence and assertiveness to develop a “go-to” presence in a firm where attention-to-detail, professional work-product, and consistent and timely delivery of information forms the cornerstone for success.
My client is seeking a performance analyst with 5+ years of experience in performance measurement and reporting. A qualified candidate will have strong requisite knowledge of the many varieties for calculating performance and a deep understanding of the inputs and factors that drive performance measurement. The analyst must be able utilize varied but interrelated systems designed to provide critical inputs needed for generating reports and analytical frameworks. The analyst must conduct themselves with a level of confidence and assertiveness to develop a “go-to” presence in a firm where attention-to-detail, professional work-product, and consistent and timely delivery of information forms the cornerstone for success.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the data and referential integrity of systems that drive and support performance analysis on a daily and monthly basis.
- Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports that are sent to clients, prospects, intermediaries such as custodians and auditors, and also distributed internally.*
- Construct ad-hoc performance reports, including but not limited to, strategy level performance, contribution and exposure reporting, and time-series analysis.
- Support the needs of various teams including portfolio management, sales and marketing, and finance, where performance data is the basis for their workflow.
Qualifications:
- Must have extreme proficiency with Excel
- An intense yet balanced focus on consistent, professional, and accurate work-product.
- Experience dealing with internal and external clients. This includes the ability to effectively address and ultimately answer ad-hoc questions that require more than rudimentary research and analysis.
- An innate sense for confirming reasonable and detecting unreasonable analytical results
- Knowledge of GIPS standards preferred
