Job description IBM is expanding its software sales team and this is an awesome opportunity for an experienced Software Sales Rep to join our team primarily focused on Financial Performance Management (FPM) solution sales working with a set of Core Accounts. Successful candidates in this role will have a proven track record of successful sales and attainment of revenue targets. The Performance Management Sales Rep will be presenting these solutions to C-level executives in the Office of Finance (CFOs, VPs of Finance, and Comptrollers). Responsibilities include: developing long-term sales strategy, territory management and development, generating tactical and comprehensive solutions, prospect, develop, and close large-scale transactions, and manage relationships with extended internal team in a matrixed environment as well as external partners. Compensation is comprised of a competitive base salary plus commissions. Ideal candidates will possess top notch enterprise selling, ability to initiate and close multiple deals at once, negotiation and deal closing skills, expert knowledge of value solutions based selling, as well as account planning, prospecting, business development and strategy development. Additionally expertise in selling FPM solutions for Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Consolidation solutions in addition to Financial Analysis and Reporting is desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills highly preferred. Position will report into the IBM Software Group - Business Analytics team in the for the New York Metro area, industry focus on Healthcare and Life Sciences. Candidates will need to be located within the region, relocation assistance is has not been budgeted for this role and is not available.
