IBM is expanding its software sales team and this is an opportunity for an experienced Financial Performance Management (FPM) Software Sales Rep to join our team primarily focused on the Chicago market.

Successful candidates in this role will have a proven track record of successful sales and attainment of revenue targets. The FPM Sales Rep will be presenting these solutions to C-level executives in the Office of Finance (CFOs, VPs of Finance, and Comptrollers). Experience selling in these departments is a plus.

Responsibilities include: developing long-term sales strategy, territory management and development, generating tactical and comprehensive solutions, prospect, develop, and close large-scale transactions, and manage relationships with both customers, IBMers, and partners.

Compensation is comprised of a competitive base salary plus commissions.

Ideal candidates will possess top notch enterprise selling, ability to initiate and close multiple deals at once, negotiation and deal closing skills, expert knowledge of value solutions based selling, as well as account planning, prospecting, business development and strategy development. Additionally expertise in selling FPM solutions for Planning, Budgeting, Modeling, Forecasting and Consolidation solutions in addition to Financial Analysis and Reporting. Excellent oral and written communication skills highly preferred.
