Great opportunity is available for an experienced Performance Manager in a direct to consumer distribution center environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive background in implementing new processes and managing within a growing distribution center while maintaining exceptional levels of service to both our internal and external customers. Candidates should possess strong managerial, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain levels of service for inbound and outbound operations
- Maintaining productivity, quality and safety standards
- Maintain inventory accuracy and integrity
- Maintain expected levels of sanitation
- Ensure associate training and retention
- Drive continuous improvement in all areas of the operation
- Control indirect labor
- Manage a consistent work flow
- Ensure associates comply with corporate, distribution center and departmental policies and procedures
- Succession planning and people development
- Establish an unequalled level of service to internal and external customers
- Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5 years directly managing supervisors and associates in a 3PL or other large distribution center
- Previous experience managing a multiple shift operation in a large distribution center
- Proven leadership abilities
- Pick/Pack distribution experience
- Solid PC skills including MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point) required
- Extensive knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Inventory experience a plus
- .com fulfillment experience
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Self motivator
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule
- Detail orientated
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
