Performance Manager – Shipping recruitment
This team will be responsible for Commercial Finance function of this Iron Ore business unit. The role will also include, but not limited to, maintaining and developing a performance reporting system and report and analyzing variances according to budget and forecasts through discussions with the marketing, sales and shipping teams
Responsibilities:
- Support transition from Hong Kong to Singapore.
- Support the production of timely and accurate management reports which identify root causes of performance variance and issues for management attention - including shipping calculations and freight index calculations.
- Ensure that the appropriate systems and controls are in place within Singapore office to manage resources and ensure good corporate governance practices
- Produce Operational budgets and forecasts in line with the business requirements
- Prepare reconciliations with related parties regarding commissions and accounts receivable
Requirements:
- Post graduate qualification desirable OR at least CIMA/ACA/Degree in relevant discipline but CPA is a must.
- Proven experience in a financial analysis role in a large multinational company
- Experience with analysis and benchmarking of financial/business data, operational efficiencies and value chains
- Working knowledge of financial systems such as SAP
- Operational experience in preparation of performance reporting within the mining or shipping industry
