Performance Marketing Manager

There’s no nameless narrator in this job description. I’m Matthew Carrozo, Head of Marketing here at Landing.jobs and I need your help.
You’ll be taking ownership for a great deal of the marketing activity for our tech jobs marketplace. You have three to four solid years of (digital) marketing experience, perhaps even in a digital marketplace (they’re a very specific beast) and an excellent command of the English language.
You are obsessed with operational process and finding more efficient ways of doing things. Excel and PowerPoint are your natural buddies. You are a natural task-master and are capable of driving group efforts to satisfactory conclusions. You abhor mediocrity, but believe that everything is better done than perfect. You thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced startup environments. You’re curious and creative in your own way, but really, you’re logical and get the biggest kick out of execution.
Main requirements
Here’s a starting point for what your main areas of responsibility will be:
Research
- Conducting original market research and surveys that allows us to make better decisions, but also turn into original content
- Spreadsheet and presentation master, capable of gathering, splicing, reconfiguring and displaying data and information in an effective manner
Content
- Capable of drafting high quality English-language copy for website, adverts and other content
Distribution
- Ads campaign management
- Effectively distributing our content via organic and paid channels
- Continually developing SEO and organic core strength of our platform
- Using Google AdWords, Facebook Advertising and Twitter - Advertising platforms to build our reach
Tracking
- Ownership of tracking and reporting on our analytics across a number of platforms
- Building and optimising measurement models and funnels in a centralised manner
- Proactively delivering insight-based reports to make better decisions
- Financial tracking of marketing activity
We have gone from strength to strength in the first half of 2015, be it taking headline space from our sector’s Goliath on TechCrunch, rebranding from jobBox to Landing.jobs or reinventing the jobs fair with #LandingFestival. We have more than doubled our talent userbase in that time, and our growth is accelerating.
And that’s just the last six months. And we’re deeply unsatisfied with that. Our tagline? Aim for more. You will be passionate about living up to this standard.
