Performance Reporting Analyst recruitment
Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Reporting, the successful incumbent will be responsible for monthly cost reporting, annual planning and mid-yearly forecasting processes, to ensure complete, accurate and timely delivery of all planning, accounting and reporting activities for the business.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensure delivery of robust and effective cost reporting and planning for the business.
- Develop effective partnership with the key budget holders to ensure that maximum value is obtained from the cost management process. Continuously look for opportunities to improve the process and help identify cost reduction opportunities consistent with the business vision and strategy.
- Lead annual planning process through the development of input templates, engagement with budget holders, and submission of Plan data. Manage the submission of mid-quarter forecast.
- Reconcile Business financial results for the business.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of management data, both financial and non-financial and leverage on the benefits from this system to create greater efficiency and better management information to support business analysis.
- Provide inputs to NAI for cost reporting related area.
- Review BSI for cost entities and liaise with regional office to resolve any issues.
- Build and maintain good working relationships with budget holders, key stakeholders in the business.
- Participate in any ad hoc project work that may arise.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Ideally 7 years’ experience with at least 2-3 years in planning and performance reporting environment.
- Strong financial and management reporting knowledge with a good understanding of accounting and essentials for a sound internal control.
- High level of analytical skills. Able to understand business context and deliver relevant depth of numerical as well as qualitative analysis. Attention to details, able to handle large volume of data and numbers. Proficient in reconciliation and investigation.
- Highly developed spreadsheet/power point skills with hands-on experience in working with data management and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
- Able to meet frequent deadlines by good time-management and allocation of priorities
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships effectively within a diverse group deal with sensitive information.
- High degree of teamwork skills and comfortable to work among diverse interfaces
- Experienced user of SAP BW systems will be highly preferred
