A leading provider of performance and risk management solutions within the investment management sector is looking to grow their client services team.
We are looking to a bright, enthusiastic individuals with backgrounds in Performance and Risk who are looking to move their career into a client facing software support focussed role.
Reporting to the Client Services Director, this role will be responsible for supporting a range of new and existing clients, both in Australia and the Asia Pacific region (some of the biggest names in the Investment Management industry). Successful candidates will receive training on the relevant products to broaden their knowledge of the Investment Management Industry and therefore must have an aptitude for learning quickly and putting this into practice. You will work as part of a team on new client set-ups/installations and then provide on-going support and training to their end-users, ensuring they are gaining maximum benefit for the system. You will also occasionally provide support to the Sales team in demonstrations, bringing credibility and expertise when required.
Key responsibilities
- Provide business user support to clients
- Carry out detailed investigations of any reported problems
- Attend client sites as and when required to install and set up systems, resolve issues or to provide necessary consulting on system use.
- Update internal CRM Client Relationship Management system with any problems raised, detailing the cause and also solution
- Liaise with Account Managers to resolve clients' issues and prepare service improvement plans
- Liaise with the Product Managers and the development teams to plan client fixes
- Provide product training to users and new staff
- Promote the company's image by enhancing standards and client awareness
Required Experience and Knowledge
- A good knowledge of performance measurement and performance attribution
- A good knowledge of the investment industry, 2 - 4 years.
- Proven experience in the use of investment management systems would be an advantage
- Knowledge / understanding of IT
- Experience with investment management applications such as HiPortfolio, pControl, FactSet, Statpro, Simcorp Dimension, Charles River are a bonus
