Performance Solutions Consultant Job in Texas, Pennsylvania US

Position will market, sell and promote Elsevier's Clinical Nursing, E-learning Products and Performance Learning Management Solutions to strategic accounts that include Hospitals, Health Systems, and Health Care Networks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILITES

Will have to sell at all levels of an organization.
Will have to present to effectively demonstrate the capabilities of Elsevier's Clinical Nursing and Performance Manager Solutions to Chief Nursing Officers, Nursing Executives, Nursing Practice Councils Committee's as well as other groups with Nursing Administration, Human Resources and Organizational Development.
Will have to negotiate and manage the contract approval process from inception until it is signed.
Will be responsible for prospecting new customers as well as managing list of existing accounts in the in your assigned territory.
Provide ongoing quality and value added service to accounts already sold assuring resources are mobilized in support of client needs, in order to establish additional revenue and referral sources and maximize contract renewal opportunities.
Provide management with requested reports detailing prospect lists, solid action plans and revenue forecasting data.
Plan and maintain an efficient and cost effective travel schedule that coordinates and maximizes product exposure for optimal sales opportunities.
Develop and maintain effective sales to cost ratio for travel and entertainment, promotion, daily operations and marketing efforts to remain within or below assigned budget.
Actively utilize in-house staff within the sales effort and in order to stay abreast of product development efforts, system enhancements, marketing programs and company performance.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Elsevier's Clinical Nursing Products, Elsevier's Clinical Decision Support Products including Elsevier Performance Manager (EPM), nursing trends and health care industry specific online services.
Complete appropriate paper work and Contract forms in a timely and accurate manner.
Provide management with market feedback toward product, pricing, and service enhancements.

Qualifications:
PREQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS AND CAPABILITIES Position requires four-year degree or equivalent and a minimum of 5-7 years in professional sales. Must be comfortable and proficient with web-based delivered products and services and LMS and EMR delivered products. Proven ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels within an organization both verbally and in writing including group presentations. Must display solid organizational skills, the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and must work successfully with limited supervision. Candidates must be available for travel in assigned territory 50% of their time.
