Position Description:

Development and execution of a performance test plan including script development, execution and reporting.
• Extract performance test requirements from existing LoadRunner scripts
• Develop performance test plan
• Convert existing LoadRunner scripts to JMeter scripts
• Setup performance test environment (for execution and benchmark testing)
• Execute Performance test scripts
• Ensure that performance tests:
o Are executable.
o Are valid and up-to-date.
o Produce repeatable, reliable and dependable results.
• Gather, analyze and report on results of test execution
• Identify areas of potential bottlenecks and expand on current test pack
• Report all issues / defects via the issue tracking system (JIRA)

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT-related discipline or the equivalent of education and experience
• Minimum of 2 years relevant Performance Testing experience using LoadRunner
• Strong understanding of the conversion process of moving scripts from LoadRunner to Jmeter is required
• Knowledgeable of Quality Assurance methodologies and SDLC is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Root cause analysis) is required
• Strong environment and trouble shooting skills to help in the identification of application deficiencies
• Self motivated, strong initiative, flexible and good time management skills
• Enthusiastic, team-building attitude and able to work with little guidance
